Skills Attributes & Employment Development

This is my blog on which I am discussing about the modules which I am currently studying in the first semester and what I hope to learn from these modules and how they will help me in developing my career later. Islington college formally known as Informatics college gives an educational attributes on Computing, Networking and Multimedia sectors. I choose Computing sector and got four different educational modules in my first semester including:
(i)  Study Skills for Computing
Ø  It's not only the subject which is course oriented. It teaches us the way to present ourselves  and increases our personal skills.
(ii) Logic
Ø  This module helps us to improve our thinking skills and helps solve logical errors.
(iii)Problem solving for IT
Ø  This module speaks itself. This module helps to learn the way of solving problems related to IT.
(iv)Introduction to programming
Ø  The last but not the least module which is the fundamental root to the programming.

It is widely accepted that employability skills are context-dependent and best developed in real work contexts. So, I would identify my strength and weaknesses to strengthen my ability and articulate my skills and experience. I will identify what I need to do in order to fulfill my goals and objective and get where I want to be in terms of my studies, jobs, personal life and career.
I hope to increase my basic fundamental skills, thinking skills, personal skills through which I could develop appropriate attributes for employment and be able to take responsibility for my employability, particularly through personal development planning. The modules I choose will help me to gain these abilities.

From these modules it will develop learning and action planning through the personal development planning process and will provide an understanding of how problems can be solved systematically. I will be able to critically  assess the quality of the software system and to implement a software system in java.
